Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily dredging operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project plans.

Monitor and optimize dredger performance, including cutter head, pumps, and pipelines.

Plan dredging sequences, depth, and alignment based on survey data and project requirements.

Supervise onboard crew, ensuring proper execution of tasks and safe working practices.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks of dredging equipment.

Maintain compliance with maritime safety standards, environmental guidelines, and company policies.

Coordinate with project managers, survey teams, and clients for progress updates and technical support.

Maintain detailed operational logs, dredging reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective measures promptly.

Respond effectively to emergencies, minimizing risks to personnel, equipment, and the environment.

Qualifications

Technical Diploma with Basic STCW training certification.
