We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Draughtsman for a Urban Planning Mixed Use Development project; to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction project team you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for our mixeduse development projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify site plans floor plans elevations and sections using CAD software
• Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design concepts
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create detailed construction documents
• Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements
• Update and maintain drawing databases and archives
• Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings
• Coordinate with other team members to resolve design conflicts and discrepancies
• Contribute to the development of project specifications and material schedules
• Stay updated on industry standards new technologies and best practices in drafting and design

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8years of experience as a draughtsman preferably in urban planning projects
• Proficiency in CAD software particularly AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
• Indepth knowledge of building codes and regulations especially those applicable in Dubai and the UAE
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings
• Solid understanding of construction methods materials and processes
• Excellent spatial awareness and 3D visualization skills
• Experience working on largescale construction projects
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g. AutoCAD certification) are a plus
• Familiarity with mixeduse development concepts and challenges
• Willingness to conduct occasional site visits as required
