About the job Dot Net Core Backend Developer

We have an urgent requirement for Dot Net Core Backend Developer with APIs, and microservices for working remotely from home full time for our client in UAE

• Strong experience in API development, including RESTful services is MUST
• Strong experience in Banking experience is preferred
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure is MUST

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using .NET Core technologies, including databases, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure that backend systems are aligned with product goals.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Implement security protocols and ensure data privacy and protection.
• Test and debug backend systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Work with DevOps to ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of backend systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Implement modern software development and testing practices, such as continuous integration and delivery, unit testing, and automated testing.
• Utilize previous experience in the finance sector or domain to help shape and improve our company's financial software solutions.
• Implement OAuth2 authentication to secure APIs and ensure user authentication.
• Implement validation techniques for data integrity and consistency.
• Dockerize the application for containerization.
• Deploy the application to Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) for scaling and management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and security issues.

Skills:

• Expertise in both .NET Framework and .NET Core development with a strong understanding of C# and SQL.
• Experience with API development, including RESTful services.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles, including SOLID and clean architectures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git is a plus.
• Experience with Identity Server for managing authentication and authorization
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
