Job summary

Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will support the hotel’s overall marketing strategy with a strong focus on brand.com performance, Food & Beverage and rooms campaigns, social media, and digital analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the resort’s digital presence and for driving traffic, engagement and conversions across our key channels while ensuring all content is on-brand and aligned with Rotana Hotel Management Corporation guidelines.

General Duties And Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy - Create and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement in key and potential markets.
  • Social Media & Content Creation - Develop and plan a schedule of engaging and relevant content across social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to attract and retain customers. Coordinate content shoots, assist with briefs, and liaise with photographers, videographers, and agencies. Draft a social media calendar including captions and basic copy for social media posts, newsletters, and digital banners, aligned with the resort identity and positioning.
  • Campaign Management - Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Performance Analysis - Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • CRM & Email Marketing - Assist with preparation of EDMs (copy, images, links, testing) in coordination with the Director of Marketing. Ensure all links, UTMs and tracking parameters are correctly implemented to measure campaign performance.
  • Analytics & Reporting - Support the tracking and reporting of key KPIs (traffic, engagement, conversions, ROAS, etc.). Prepare regular reports and basic insights to help optimize campaigns and highlight opportunities or challenges for the Director of Marketing.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with other marketing team members and relevant departments such as F&B, Rooms, Recreation, etc, to collect information, offers and updates for digital channels and to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and alignment with business objectives.
  • Foster a results-driven, customer-focused culture within the marketing team.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
  • Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably in hospitality, travel, Food & Beverage, or lifestyle industries (internships and trainee roles can be counted).
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and best practices, Email marketing and CRM basics, Website content management and SEO fundamentals, Online advertising concepts (paid search, display, social ads).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and convert insights into action.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (preferably GA4) and social media insights dashboards is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with design tools (Canva, basic Photoshop or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong writing skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and collaborative, with a genuine interest in digital trends and hospitality.
