Are you a visionary digital leader ready to shape the future of the built environment AECOM is seeking a dynamic Digital Director to drive regional digital transformation within our Buildings and Places (B&P) end-market. This senior strategic role is at the forefront of innovation aligning regional initiatives with global digital objectives enhancing operational excellence and elevating client delivery through cutting-edge technologies.

As a key member of the B&P leadership team the Digital Director collaborates with regional and global stakeholders to advance the End Markets digital priorities. This includes rationalizing and upgrading technology platforms streamlining workflows and rolling out new digital capabilities that deliver measurable business value.

The role also plays a critical part in identifying and addressing barriers to digital adoption ensuring that digital initiatives contribute to growth operational excellence and sustain competitive advantage within B&P across the region.

What Youll Do

As Digital Director youll lead the strategic direction of digital transformation across AECOMs Buildings & Places business. Youll drive innovation enhance operational excellence and deliver measurable business value by:

• Defining and aligning regional digital strategies with global priorities.
• Leading the development and deployment of enterprise platforms data architecture and emerging technologies.
• Guiding platform selection and digital tool adoption across technical practices.
• Supporting business development by embedding digital value into client pursuits.
• Mentoring high-performing digital teams and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Promoting sustainable design and net-zero principles through digital solutions.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders driving digital maturity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Architectural Engineering Construction (AEC) Computer Science or another quantitative discipline.
• 20 yearsexperience demonstrated experience in digital transformation computational design and related roles within the built environment driving innovation and operational efficiency
• Data & Database Proficiency
• Skilled in SQL query authoring with working familiarity across a range of database systems supporting data-driven decision-making and solution development.
• AEC Industry Expertise
• Advanced working knowledge of AEC technologies processes and international standards essential for delivering compliant and innovative digital solutions.
