JOB OBJECTIVE

Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and strong experience in cloud‑native infrastructure automation and CI/CD delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Helm charts, GitLab pipelines, Linux administration, Terraform and multicloud concepts. While Azure is essential, experience with AWS or GCP is considered a strong advantage.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to support automated builds, testing and deployments.
• Develop, maintain and optimise Helm charts for Kubernetes‑based application deployments.
• Architect, provision and manage cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on Azure Cloud.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across Azure environments.
• Manage and optimise Linux‑based systems ensuring performance, security and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of production systems.
• Drive DevOps best practices including automation, observability and continuous improvement.
• Support containerised workloads and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Contribute to multicloud readiness; experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 8 years of experience.

QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
  Strong practical experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture.
• Solid experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment workflows.
• Proven expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and optimisation.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and system‑level troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, DevOps culture and automation‑first mindset.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with AWS or GCP (good to have, not mandatory).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices and cloud governance.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
