Key Responsibilities

A demolition worker responsible for safely dismantling buildings and structures using tools and machinery, while also clearing debris, handling hazardous materials, and salvaging reusable components. Key duties include:

• Establishing safety zones and preparing the site for demolition.
• Dismantling elements like walls, doors, and roofs, and removing rubble and debris from the site.
• Identifying and removing hazardous materials, such as asbestos, from the site.
• Safely operating various hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators and bulldozers.
• Identifying and removing valuable or reusable materials to be salvaged for later use.
• Clearing and hauling away demolition waste and other materials from the job site.

Skills
