Position Summary
  • The Arabic Chef supports the strategic plans and objectives of the Kitchen Department by delivering authentic, high-quality Arabic cuisine that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. The role is hands-on, methodical, and business-focused, with strong ownership of assigned culinary responsibilities and a commitment to excellence.
  • Works collaboratively with the Head Chef, kitchen leadership, and key business partners to ensure consistency, quality, and creativity across all Arabic menu offerings. This position requires deep knowledge of traditional and modern Arabic cooking techniques, ingredients, presentation, and cultural authenticity, while also embracing innovation where appropriate.
  • As an ambassador of the brand, the Arabic Chef reflects the company’s culture and values through professionalism, teamwork, and a passion for hospitality. All duties are performed in full compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, food safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Key responsibilities include maintaining high culinary standards, supporting menu development, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, and contributing positively to the overall guest experience through exceptional Arabic cuisine
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, mixing, and proper storage.
  • Prepare, cook, and present hot and cold food items in line with approved recipes, quality standards, presentation guidelines, and food preparation checklists.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently, ensuring food is cooked to required standards.
  • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation throughout preparation and service.
  • Set up and break down workstations efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Serve food in correct portions using appropriate service ware to control waste and maintain consistency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including personal hygiene practices.
  • Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures, ensuring correct operation of appliances, freezers, and cold chain systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, tools, and storage facilities in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Follow FIFO, labeling, dating, storage, and product rotation procedures across all food-related areas.
  • Support the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen department, ensuring guest dining experiences meet hotel and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs, supervisors, and colleagues, especially during peak periods, to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining departmental inventory, productivity targets, and performance standards in collaboration with the Head of Department.
  • Report maintenance, safety, or quality issues promptly to management or relevant departments.
  • Take ownership of assigned duties while continuously developing skills and knowledge in line with company culture, growth, and performance expectations.
