Overview

Were seeking a Senior Manager to join our high-performing Strategy team within the Deals Line of Service. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy and transactions supporting major government and private sector clients on high-impact growth transformation and investment decisions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and delivering growth strategy, corporate development operating model design, and transaction advisory services across high-priority sectors such as transport & logistics, industrials, automotive, and construction. With several marquee opportunities on the horizon, including large-scale regional initiatives and a pivotal RFP win already in progress, this role offers the chance to operate at the forefront of regional transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements across the full investment lifecycle with a focus on pre-deal strategy, commercial due diligence (CDD), target screening, market entry strategy and deal execution.

  • Support investors, sovereign wealth funds and corporates in identifying, evaluating and capturing opportunities in industrials, mobility, consumer, defense and related sectors.

  • Advise on turnaround strategies, IPO readiness, new market entry and value creation plans to drive sustainable growth.

  • Partner with international businesses looking to localize operations in the region, particularly in highly regulated environments.

  • Deliver strategic and operational advice for public sector entities and regulators including large-scale transformation programs, localization agendas and industry-wide initiatives.

  • Translate strategy into execution by setting up new businesses, driving post-deal integration and implementing operational improvement initiatives.

  • Support clients on major transformation projects, particularly in UAE and KSA, aligning with national growth and localization agendas.

  • Apply deep understanding of industrial manufacturing, automotive, defense, consumer mobility and construction value chains to design tailored growth strategies.

  • Advise on large-scale capital programs, privatization initiatives and investment promotion strategies in regulated and open markets.

  • Conduct market assessments, feasibility studies and business planning to support client decision-making.

  • Manage and oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with senior executives, industry leaders and government stakeholders.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposals and deepening client relationships.

Requirements
  • 8 years of relevant experience in top-tier management consulting or in-house corporate strategy roles.

  • Demonstrated expertise in growth-focused engagements (beyond cost optimization) including growth strategy, new market entry, turnaround strategy, IPO readiness and value creation.

  • Proven track record in transactions and M&A including commercial due diligence, joint ventures, integrations, carve-outs and spin-offs - with the ability to link transaction work to long-term strategy.

  • Sector experience across industrial manufacturing, automotive, defense, consumer mobility and construction, ideally within the Middle East region.

  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics including localization agendas, sovereign wealth fund investment priorities and regulatory environments.

  • Experience working with both private sector operators and public sector entities supporting transformation programs, market-shaping initiatives and national growth agendas.

  • Proven ability to lead high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely high-quality delivery and exceptional client outcomes.

  • Strong client presence and ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives, government leaders and senior stakeholders.

  • Experience overseeing complex multi-workstream projects, managing budgets and driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Rigorous analytical skills with the ability to apply structured problem-solving, creative thinking and quantitative analysis to complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - articulate, persuasive and able to deliver clear, compelling messages to diverse audiences.

  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic and hands-on with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to driving strategy through to implementation.

  • Comfort operating across multiple business units, integrating cross-functional perspectives and driving transformation agendas.

  • Arabic language skills considered a strong plus.

  • Travel Up to 40% of the time across the Middle East region.
