AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, managing servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continual access to innovation. You will join a diverse team comprising software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We are seeking Data Center Technicians to expand our Infrastructure Operations team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, fiber, networking, and related infrastructure. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware within AWS data centers, becoming the primary resolver for your support team and developing troubleshooting skills across hardware and software cases.

You will troubleshoot and resolve most infrastructure issues, engaging other specialized groups for complex problems to ensure effective solutions.

Key job responsibilities

1. SAFETY: Maintain the highest safety standards, promote a safety-first culture, and lead safety initiatives and projects.
2. DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO): Diagnose hardware and network problems, perform physical repairs, troubleshoot within SLAs, conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures, and handle equipment manually as required (adhering to weight regulations).
