We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated DOH Licensed CSSD Technician to join our team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sterilization, decontamination, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment across various departments within the healthcare facility. The role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sterilization & Decontamination: Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, etc.) to ensure that all medical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, decontaminated, and sterilized according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Instrument Preparation: Inspect, sort, and assemble surgical instrument sets for use in medical procedures, ensuring that all items are functional and in good condition.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain and track inventory of sterile supplies, including surgical instruments, dressings, and other medical materials.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards. Report any discrepancies or issues to the CSSD Manager.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, ensuring proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaboration: Assist with the distribution of sterilized equipment to various departments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow established infection control protocols, workplace safety regulations, and organizational policies.
