Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum Sales and/or Marketing management experience in FMCG industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans for distribution penetration in coordination with local management.
  • Establish in-store visibility plans and follow through with implementation.
  • Initiate annual marketing plans in line with strategy and guidelines.
  • Steer Key Account Management to improve product visibility.
  • Set KPIs for all Trade & Consumer projects and report on achievements.
  • Monitor orders and maintain sufficient stock levels.

Country Sales Manager – Global FMCG Brand

The main mission is to optimize/maximize distribution penetration for product lines in all sales channels, build-up in-store visibility for products which is at least competitive or preferable superior to directly competing products.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop plans to build-up weighted distribution in each region/city/or town in coordination with Distributor’s local management, and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.
  • Develop in-store visibility plans in coordination with local Distributor’s management; and follow-up to achieve timely & effective implementation.
  • Initiate & develop annual marketing plan/s as per the strategy & guidelines set and agreed with your direct management and regional marketing team; follow-up on implementation; and report back progress & any recommendations to change or amend.
  • Play a central role in steering Key Account Management in coordination with respective distributor’s management; with aim to continuously improve share of shelf vs. competitors and to amplify impact of product visibility on consumers. Company products being Impulse products - it becomes imperative to place company products on checkouts, in category, and occasionally in selective out of category.
  • Establish and communicate necessary KPIs (key performance indicators) for all Trade & Consumer related projects and activities; and report back on Achievements vs. Objectives set.
  • Monitor order forecasts communicated by distributors, as well as confirmed orders placed by distributor from the different company factories. The aim is to ensure sufficient stocks at all times , and to maintain additional buffer stock equivalent to 2 months future sales - taking into consideration sales growth as a consequence to promotional activities.
Skills & Requirements
  • 5 years minimum Sales and/or Marketing management experience in FMCG industry preferably in impulse driven product lines such gum, candy, chocolate, snacks, batteries…etc.
  • Prior experience in Key Account Management / Trade Marketing / Sales and Distribution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, Word, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook. Prior experience in SAP is a plus.
Education

Bachelor in business degree with focus on Marketing or Finance.
