Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Contract Administrator with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in contract administration and change control, particularly in large projects like power plants. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of FIDIC-based and EPC contracts. This full-time, site-based role will involve managing contractual correspondence and compliance while resolving disputes and claims. Candidates must have a valid UAE residence visa.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in contract administration and change control on large projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based and EPC contracts.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and interpret contracts in line with contractual provisions.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contractual correspondence with the Employer, Engineer, and Contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with Conditions of Contract, Exhibits, and EPCM procedures.
  • Maintain contract records, registers, and logs.
  • Identify, assess, and manage variations, claims, and contractual changes.
  • Prepare and process Change Orders in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Review and respond to contractor claims and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
  • Support negotiations and resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
Qualifications & Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in contract administration and change control on large projects, preferably power plants.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based and EPC contracts.
  • Proven experience in variations, claims, and EOT management.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Valid UAE residence visa is mandatory.
