We are seeking to hire a talented Construction Manager for one of our clients based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Note that projects will be across UAE.
Authorities
- Schedule, organize and supervise smooth functions of the project and delegate authorities to Project/Site Engineers, Foreman and Charge Hands for proper and effective use of manpower, equipment & other resources.
- Evaluate & take appropriate prompt actions for the Qualitypairs, Health, Security and Safety & Welfare of all employees at the Projects.
- Organize & manage all resources and project construction activities to achieve an efficient and effective completion of the contract, within the agreed time and cost.
- Plan, execute, monitor contractual commitment of the project & liaise with Client/Consultant Engineers & Local Authorities for project requirements.
- Represent Project Manager & Deputy Project Manager for meetings and take action as per the discussed decision and follow up for completion of the same.
- Co‑ordination with all in‑house/ external service providers & Sub‑Contractors for smooth operation and effective planning and utilization of resources.
- Conduct regular meetings with Project Engineers, Site Engineers & Foreman to evaluate the progress, contractual & design issues and initiate prompt & appropriate action.
- Implement program and closely monitor the usage of manpower, equipment and materials to ensure that the job costs do not exceed the budgeted target and the work done is promptly.
- Ensure that all Engineers, Foreman, Charge‑Hand, Skilled and Unskilled & PMV workers understand their area of responsibilities and carry out their given tasks efficiently and diligently to achieve the objectives of the company.
- Monitor requisitions for materials at site and ensure materials are not wasted.
- Maintain all stores records, receipts, issues & maintain assets, inventories, etc.
- Ensure that the Quality Plan, QHSE Policies, IMS Objectives and IMS Procedures are implemented to achieve Customer / Client satisfaction.
- Arrange Periodical Performance Appraisal of Projects Staffs & PRESS? & Workers & submit recommendation to Project Manager.
- Performsևս additional duties as required by the Management.
- Promote QHSE & ISMS policies within the company and ensure that the quality, environmental, health, safety & Information Security management system procedures are followed at all times, striving for continuous improvement until the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System is achieved.

- Complete the projects within the specified constraints of time and budgeted cost.

Requirements
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering from reputable University with Sound Academic Mer.Regex.

Number of years of experience: Over 14 years.
Specialized trainings required (if any): Construction Management, Project Estimating & Budgeting, Contracts Management, LEED & PMP.
Area of experience required: Project Management / Contracts Management /Business Development/Public Relations.
