Job Purpose
Support the delivery of the Energy Division communications strategy through hands‑on ownership of influencer engagement, media support, campaign execution and performance reporting ensuring communications activity is delivered accurately on time and to a high standard, contributing directly to awareness, reputation and audience growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Influencer Engagement – Identify, manage and activate relevant influencers and content creators, ensuring alignment with Energy Division positioning and objectives.
- Media Support – Support press office activity including media lists, press releases, interview coordination, briefings and on‑site press operations.
- Campaign Delivery – Execute communications campaigns across digital, social and owned channels, ensuring consistency of message and brand.
- Content Coordination – Support the creation, scheduling and distribution of content, working with internal teams and external agencies.
- Reporting and Insight – Track performance across media, influencer and campaign activity, producing clear, accurate reports and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Liaison – Act as a point of contact for day‑to‑day communications requests from internal teams and partners.
- Operational Excellence – Maintain calendars, trackers, contact databases and asset libraries to ensure smooth delivery.
- Governance and Quality Control – Ensure all outputs meet brand, legal and governance standards.
Professional Experience & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in communications, marketing, PR or journalism.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Comfortable working with external partners (influencers, agencies, media) and cross‑functional internal teams.
- Interest in tools, platforms and systems that help communications work smarter and scale.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and grow in a high‑impact environment.
