For Smart Infrastructure, Buildings Sustainability business, we are searching for Commercial Project Manager (CPM) who is a key finance member of the order execution team to ensure successful performance of customer projects in terms of cost, schedule, and overall performance!

This role will be carrying out all commercial tasks during the entire system & solution project/order lifecycle for 3rd party or affiliated business. The goal of the CPM is to provide transparent and consistent cost controlling and reporting which allows the project team to identify potential areas to improve a project’s profitability!

Responsibilities
  • Taking full commercial responsibility in project execution in line with PM@Siemens Guidelines.
  • Participating in LoA processes and contract negotiations when early involvement is required.
  • Ensuring an adequate handover phase, analyzing customer requirements, and examining their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability.
  • Taking role in adaptation of commercial and legal terms of contract with customers, regional companies, subcontractors, among other things through assisting in proceedings.
  • Fulfilling monthly closing transactions like creating invoices, ensuring all project/order plan, revenues, costs, accruals, etc. are collected in the financial statement.
  • Logistic coordination (transport, customs duties, taxes, licenses, etc.) and creation of export documents.
  • Supporting and controlling of claim management, risk management and NCC topics jointly with the Project Manager.
  • Controlling monthly forecasts e.g. revenue, gross profit, project profit, business assets, funds tied down in current assets, offer calculations, incoming order calculations, central calculations and conclusion calculations.
  • Following-up project/order bank guarantees, processing Letter of Credits (L/C), accruals, provisions, receivables and payables, hedging transactions, project related insurance, social security topics.
  • Preparing and presenting project commercial data for forecasting and budgeting, Project Review Meetings to the management and/or financial audit purposes.
  • Close cooperation with corporate groups like Accounting, Finance, Tax, Supply-Chain Management, Legal, Compliance (as relevant).
  • Actively communicating with customer’s commercial representatives and leading issue solutions, ensuring timely collectoin.
  • Be a role model for the project team members to act according to business conduct guidelines and establishing a culture of trust and integrity.
  • Regularly performing lessons-learned activities on commercial aspects and feeding results into own project lessons-learned activities.
  • Cross functional team collaboration by close contact with SCM, legal, compliance, tax departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics.
  • Min.5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Good command of English language.
  • Specialization and/or additional education in Project Management, Claim & Contract Management, Foreign Trade will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of LoA guidelines, financial accounting (Local Accounting, IFRS), controlling/reporting, project financing, logistics, commercial laws, tax, and customs regulations etc.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Analytical thinking result and quality - oriented approach, professional judgement & problem-solving ability and good communication skills are required competencies.
  • Team-oriented ability to work with cross - functional teams.
  • Being able and willing to work in a multi - cultural environment.
