Managing Director & Co-Founder – We Paint Well

We Paint Well is redefining the painting services industry in the UAE through a modern, tech-enabled platform. Built at the intersection of hands-on craftsmanship and digital innovation, WPW combines years of industry know-how with a SaaS-driven approach to service delivery. Our mission is simple: to make painting faster, easier, and better for customers, while empowering painters with tools, visibility, and fair opportunities. We’re at the stage where we need a proven leader to take us from early traction to full-scale growth — someone who blends deep industry knowledge with startup grit, and who is ready to step into a CEO role over time.

The Role

As Managing Director & Co-Founder, you will:

• Lead the business day-to-day : Drive operations, growth, and customer excellence across the UAE.
• Bridge industry and technology : Connect the realities of the painting trade with the scalability of a SaaS platform.
• Build and inspire the team : Attract top talent, shape company culture, and establish processes that scale.
• Drive early growth : Secure first-mover advantage in the UAE through market expansion, customer acquisition, and strong partnerships.
• Own the future roadmap : Lay the foundations for regional growth while preparing WPW to scale beyond painting into broader home and commercial services.
• Step into CEO role : Transition into full leadership of the company as it matures, with founders moving into board / advisory positions.

Ideal Profile

• Industry Depth : Extensive experience in painting, construction, home improvement, or facilities management — understands the craft, operations, and customer pain points.
• Startup DNA : Proven track record of building or scaling a business from zero to traction — resilient, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• SaaS / Marketplace Savvy : Exposure to digital platforms or service marketplaces, ideally in a founder, GM, or growth leadership role.
• Leadership : Strong people manager with the ability to rally teams, shape culture, and deliver under pressure.
• Commercial Acumen : Skilled in building P&Ls, pricing models, and growth strategies, with an eye for balancing efficiency and scale.
• UAE Presence : Deep understanding of the UAE market — customer expectations, business regulations, and competitive landscape.
