About the Role

As a Technician based in Dubai, you will support our construction testing operations by performing Pre-Load Tests (PLT), concrete quality assessments, and operating Forklift Trucks (FLT). This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with up to 1 year of experience seeking hands-on technical growth within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PLT (Pre-Load Testing) according to standard operating procedures
• Perform concrete sampling and testing to assess quality and compliance
• Operate FLT (Forklift Truck) for material handling and site logistics
• Maintain accurate test records and prepare daily reports
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure reliability
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve technical issues
• Assist in inventory management of materials and equipment

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field
• 0-1 years of hands-on experience in PLT, concrete testing, or FLT operation
• Basic understanding of material testing procedures and quality standards
• Valid FLT (forklift) operation license
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data recording
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction or testing projects within the UAE
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality codes and local building regulations
• Certification in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) best practices
