Job description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Civil Lab Technician to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Lab Technician you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests on construction materials and ensuring the quality and safety of civil engineering projects.

with site team for daily inspections and arranging third party/ DCL accordingly

and witness tests on site with third party lab in coordination with Consultant Engineer

the Samples in DCL/Third party lab

with subcon/Lab for test reports

the Testing logs (FDT Concrete .) on daily basis

concrete pouring record for daily concrete works on site

the lab as per Standard/Requirement

QA/QC Engineer for daily NMR/MIR Inspections on site

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
• 23 years of experience in a civil engineering laboratory setting
• Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment and testing procedures
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering materials and their properties
• Familiarity with quality control standards and safety protocols
• Ability to use data analysis software and prepare technical reports
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications in laboratory testing procedures (e.g. ACI ASTM) preferred
• Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction materials
• Willingness to work in both laboratory and field environments
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and samples as needed
