Overview

Are you a visionary leader with a proven track record in driving operational excellence within the fit-out and joinery industry?

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team and oversee the end-to-end operations of our interior fit-out, wood manufacturing, and technical services divisions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise the CEO on key operational insights as well as provide coaching to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
  • Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
  • Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO based on your market research
  • Oversee end-to-end operations across wood manufacturing, joinery, and interior fit-out divisions
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company vision and growth targets
  • Lead and optimize operations across wood manufacturing and fit-out projects
  • Drive business strategy, growth, and profitability
  • Manage P&L, budgets, and operational performance, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency
  • Oversee production, project management, procurement & supply chain
  • Ensure on-time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
  • Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams
  • Establish KPIs, performance tracking, and reporting systems for all departments and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strengthen client & stakeholder relationships and support business development initiatives
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, fit-out execution, and technical services
  • Recruit, train, and mentor senior management and operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and sustainability practices
Qualifications
  • 10 to 15 years’ senior leadership experience in furniture, interior fit-out, joinery, or wood manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing workflows, fit-out execution & project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Business (MBA preferred)
  • Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Excellent leadership, people management skills, communication & decision-making skills
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning, factory workflows, and quality control
  • Familiarity with machinery and tools used in carpentry and joinery production
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities
  • Good understanding of UAE labor laws and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in ERP, CRM systems and MS Office
  • Strategic planning and business development experience
  • Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
