Senior Strategic Affairs Manager / Chief of Staff

Our client, a semi-government entity in the world of technology, is searching for a Senior Strategic Affairs Manager / Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role focused on translating strategy into execution, strengthening governance, and driving alignment across the organisation.

This position would suit a senior strategy, consulting, PMO, or Chief of Staff professional who thrives at the centre of decision-making and enjoys turning complex strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting priority setting, executive decision-making, and follow-through
  • Translate organisational strategy into clear objectives, initiatives, and KPIs
  • Drive execution of critical strategic programmes
  • Establish and maintain executive governance, reporting, and performance dashboards
  • Prepare high-quality executive and board-level materials, briefs
  • Manage senior internal and external stakeholders, including board members and partners
  • Introduce structured planning, PMO, and performance management practices
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, PMO, or executive office roles
  • Proven experience working directly with C‑suite or board-level stakeholders
  • Strong track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives end‑to‑end
  • Highly analytical, structured, and data‑driven, with a strong execution mindset
  • Experience in technology, higher education or government would be beneficial.
