Provident Real Estate is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with proven executive leadership experience in the real estate sector. The CFO will be responsible for strategic financial leadership, governance, financial control, reporting, compliance, and system optimization across the group’s real estate brokerage, off-plan sales, property management, and holiday homes businesses.
The ideal candidate must have previously held the role of CFO, possess deep real estate financial expertise, and demonstrate hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations / Business Central) in complex, multi‑entity environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, contributing to long‑term business planning, expansion strategy, and capital allocation.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with Provident’s growth objectives across brokerage, off‑plan, leasing, property management, and holiday homes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, and financial scenario modeling.
Financial Control & Governance
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Ensure robust internal controls, segregation of duties, and governance frameworks.
- Maintain full compliance with UAE regulations, RERA, DLD, VAT, ESR, AML, and corporate governance standards.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Deliver accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide management with detailed financial insights, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Oversee consolidated reporting across multiple legal entities and business lines.
Systems & Process Optimization
- Own and optimize Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations / Business Central) as the core ERP.
- Lead system enhancements, integrations (CRM, sales, commissions, payroll), and process automation.
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and real‑time financial visibility.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee external audits, internal audits, and relationships with auditors, banks, and regulators.
- Ensure strong controls over commissions, escrow accounts, client funds, and developer payments.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the finance team, including accounting, FP&A, payroll, and compliance functions.
- Set performance standards, promote accountability, and build a high‑performance finance culture.
- Act as a mentor and escalation point for senior finance leaders.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Minimum 10–15 years of finance experience, with significant senior leadership exposure.
- Proven experience in the real estate sector (brokerage, developers, property management, or holiday homes).
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Operations and/or Business Central).
- Experience managing multi‑entity, high‑volume, commission‑driven businesses.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT, real estate escrow structures, and regulatory compliance.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (mandatory).
- Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent).
- MBA is an advantage.
