Our client, a well established main contractor in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the business and drive its continued success in the region. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership within the UAE construction sector, extensive experience managing large scale building projects, and strong financial acumen with a focus on P&L management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the company, ensuring the successful delivery of complex large-scale build projects.
• Oversee all operational, commercial, and financial activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Manage the full company P&L, ensuring financial health, profitability, and long-term sustainable growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, and key stakeholders in the UAE construction market.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team, creating a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s market presence across the UAE and wider GCC.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and industry standards while upholding the highest levels of quality, safety, and ethical business practices.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior executive within a main contracting company in the UAE.
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in construction, with at least 10 years in executive leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in P&L management, corporate governance, and strategic decision making.
• Demonstrated success in leading large teams and delivering complex high value projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent knowledge of the UAE construction market, regulations, and client landscape.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
