A luxury hospitality brand is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee technical operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in hotel engineering, with a proven track record in leadership and team development. Lead and oversee all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across the property.
Develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure all systems—including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utilities—operate efficiently and safely.
Establish and enforce standards for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance in line with UAE laws and brand policies.
Engineering Leadership & Strategy
Lead and oversee all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across the property.
Team Management & Development
Manage, mentor, and inspire the engineering and maintenance team to deliver high performance and engagement.
Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development for technical staff.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize all building systems and infrastructure to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Coordinate with other departments to support operational efficiency and property-wide initiatives.
Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships to maintain cost-effective and sustainable operations.
Project Management & Innovation
Plan and execute property upgrades, renovations, and technical projects on time and within budget.
Stay informed of emerging engineering technologies and sustainability practices to enhance operational performance.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and environmentally responsible solutions aligned with the property’s wellness and adventure ethos.
Minimum 7 years of experience in hotel / resort engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utilities systems.
Experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality properties is highly desirable.
Familiarity with GCC regulations and local standards preferred.
