Job Description

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and contribute to creating memorable, high-quality dining experiences. This role is essential in delivering dishes that reflect the spirit of adventure, community, and authenticity that defines our retreat.

Culinary Expertise & Kitchen Operations
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items.
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe execution, and portion control under the guidance of the Head Chef.
  • Ensure all ingredients are prepared, organized, and ready for service, supporting a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Maintain awareness of guest preferences and dietary requirements, ensuring personalized culinary experiences.
Hygiene, Safety & Standards
  • Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Report any equipment faults, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work closely with other chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving menu, service, and kitchen processes.

Qualifications

  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
