We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a Chef De Partie. Responsibilities
  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes in line with the restaurants standards.
  • Follow and enforce kitchen recipes portion control and plating specifications for all menu items.
  • Maintain food safety cleanliness and hygiene at all workstations according to HACCP and health and safety policies.
  • Monitor daily food preparation and support the smooth running of service assisting colleagues as required.
  • Manage stock levels and wastage within your section ensuring efficient storage and inventory usage.
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen colleagues and front-of-house teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Train and supervise junior staff sharing best practices and supporting their skills development.
  • Adapt to changing priorities during busy periods and help with other kitchen sections if required.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are upheld and all kitchen areas remain organised and safe at all times.
Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience working as a Chef De Partie, Junior Sous Chef, or similar role in a busy professional kitchen.
  • Thorough understanding of kitchen operations, culinary techniques, ingredients and modern food trends.
  • Strong focus on food hygiene, allergen awareness and safety procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail, organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse kitchen team.
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
