Job summary

A prominent retail company in Dubai is seeking an experienced cashier to manage cash transactions, provide excellent customer service, and work collaboratively with sales and logistics teams. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years cashiering experience and be available to join immediately.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of cashiering experience, preferably from a furniture retail store.
  • Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately handle cash, credit, debit, and other payment methods at the point of sale.
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve complaints.
  • Provide documentation for purchases and count cash at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Inform customers about ongoing sales promotions and loyalty programs.
  • Communicate with sales staff and logistics teams regarding product availability.

What youll be doing:
  • Accurately handle cash credit debit and other payment methods at the point of sale.
  • Greet customers answer questions about products or store policies and resolve basic issues or complaints.
  • Provide customers with accurate receipts sales invoices and any related documentation for their purchases.
  • Count the cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of the shift to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Inform customers about ongoing sales promotions financing options or loyalty programs relevant to their purchases.
  • Communicate effectively with sales staff and logistics teams to confirm product availability delivery schedules or special orders.
What we need:
  • At least 2 years of cashiering experience preferably from a furniture retail store
  • Immediate joiners are preferred
