Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in El-Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the carpentry trade and hold a relevant qualification. We are also willing to consider candidates with foreign qualifications and expertise.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1600 AED per month along with other benefits.

Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the type of material required, the measurements needed, or the methods of assembly
• Cut or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencils or marking gauge
• Join materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
• Install fixtures such as windows and doors
• Erect scaffolding to provide support during construction activities
• Construct cabinets or other items by assembling cut material

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter
• Ability to read technical plans and drawings
• Excellent knowledge of wood properties and other materials used in carpentry work
• Excellent physical condition as well as good stamina and strength for manual labor tasks
• Proficient in using power tools such as saws, sanders drills etc.
