As a Car Care Operations Manager, you will lead and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across multiple locations in the UAE. This includes optimizing manpower utilization, ensuring high service quality, maximizing productivity, and enhancing customer satisfaction while maintaining cost-effective operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Drive operational excellence across all locations aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Supervise and coordinate activities across all car care centers.
- Implement standardized operational procedures and ensure compliance.
- Monitor service delivery standards, workflow, and turnaround time.
Manpower Planning & Utilization:
- Optimize staffing levels across all locations to meet demand.
- Monitor and manage technician productivity and shift scheduling.
- Develop cross-training programs to improve team flexibility.
Performance & Productivity:
- Establish KPIs and review technician and team performance.
- Track and improve technician efficiency and job completion times.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure workshops meet daily, weekly, and monthly service targets.
- Implement performance-based incentive systems.
Budget & Cost Control:
- Manage operational budgets and control overhead costs.
- Ensure optimal use of tools and consumables.
- Identify areas for cost optimization without compromising quality.
Customer Experience & Quality Control:
- Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service experience across locations.
- Monitor and resolve escalated customer issues and complaints.
- Champion a first time-right repair culture.
Compliance & Safety:
- Enforce compliance with UAE labor laws, health & safety standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments.
Reporting:
- Maintain operational dashboards, manpower analytics, and performance summaries.
- Present monthly reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of leadership in the car care sector, with a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automotive services.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with digital technologies, and data-driven decision-making in the context of mobility solutions.
- Experience in managing financial performance and budgetary responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, driving innovation and change.
