Job Purpose
Perform, oversee, and certify specific Cabin tasks on Airline and Third-Party aircraft undergoing base maintenance. This includes repairs/modifications, installation/replacements, and defect rectifications, while overseeing the work of assigned technicians, ensuring airworthiness & compliance with approved standards, regulatory requirements, and the airline’s maintenance procedure.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Prepare for, perform, and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with task cards, approved data, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the work of assigned technicians, ensuring tasks are performed to the required standards, resolving technical issues, and providing on-the-job guidance where needed.
- Review assigned task cards with the assigned Engineer to confirm full understanding of work scope, documentation, priorities, and safety precautions prior to task commencement.
- Conducts aircraft test & inspection tasks, ensuring defects or damage are properly addressed using approved maintenance data.
- Carries out repairs, component replacements and tests as instructed by assigned task cards or as assigned by Engineer, fully in accordance with procedures & approved data.
- Record maintenance actions, test results, defect rectification, and parts usage accurately in the Maintenance & Engineering software systems, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Ensures all required materials, tools, and equipment are available, drawn from stores and set up prior to starting the tasks and are returned to the stores in good condition.

- Maintain clear, effective communication with engineers, technicians, and operational teams to ensure task continuity, safe handovers, and seamless coordination.
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and human factors principles before, during, and after task execution to safeguard personnel and equipment.
- Uphold high housekeeping standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all time.
- Control resource usage, minimizing waste of consumables, preventing repeat work, and optimizing material and repair costs.
- Provide professional, proactive, and solution-oriented support to operational teams across the airline & third-party customers.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Diploma or Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Cabin), or equivalent technical discipline
- Proficient in computer literacy for accessing Maintenance & Engineering software systems and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on compliance and safety.
- Effective communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
- Sound knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, manufacturer manuals, and approved maintenance data.
- Strong understanding of civil aviation regulations, maintenance procedures, and airworthiness requirements, with the ability to certify work to approved standards.
- Sound understanding of aviation safety management systems, human factors, and regulatory compliance principles.
Work Experience
External
- 4 years’ experience performing maintenance of aircraft repair & maintenance, preferably Airbus type.
- Completion of related training with skills proficiency.
Internal
- 4 years as a Cabin Technician with good performance record
- Successful completion of internal training programs
- Acquiring Internal QA authorization
- Proven hands‑on experience in Cabin maintenance, and defect rectification.
