Responsibilities
- Build pipeline and enhance relationships with prospects
- Ensure long-term profitability and quality of customer portfolio through proper policy Terms and Conditions
- Reach targets of portfolio growth and quality
- Create a pipeline (self prospection) in line with target profile
- Convert leads generated / received
- Take personal responsibility for the implementation of group-wide quality of service standards
- Analyze prospect needs and business model to build the policy properly
- Collect all necessary information and follow up with commercial and risk underwriting on quotation and prechecks
- Ensure that the prospect has full understanding of policy coverage and processes before signing
- Comply with commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio
What You Bring
- Previous experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in Insurance. Other sectors such as Corporate Banking, Financial Services is an advantage
- Market knowledge
- Expert know-how in the specifics of the market
- Ability to build extensive network with close contacts to mid-large clients, market players and opinion leaders
- Strong Business Acumen
- Business expertise
- Ability to generate and convert leads
- Results-driven, ability to work with targets and KPIs
- Sound understanding of Finance and Accounting
- Basic understanding of Generative AI / GenAI / Generative Artificial Intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT, with awareness of best practices and potential risks associated with AI in the workplace
- Interpersonal skills and personal attributes
- Ability to liaise with members of other core functions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic
