The primary goal of this role is to increase productivity and support business operations by providing quality leads in the Defense (Air Force) and General Aviation sectors, ensuring consistent growth aligned with top management objectives. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities and maintaining existing customers by registering with Air Forces and semi-government contractors across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, while mitigating risks and driving sustainable profitability.
Key Business Development Activities (including but not limited to):
- Enhance the business by maintaining existing clients and developing new client networks in consent with the reporting Director
- Conduct business development and key account management for aviation parts and related services
- Study, suggest, and implement new market trends and technologies to enhance business practices
- Identify and recommend alternative revenue sources
- Conduct market research and business analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare status reports, presentations, MIS reports, and market data for internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee marketing, public relations, promotional events, and community engagement to enhance companies visibility and reputation
- Run meetings, collate and update MIS reports, prepare presentations, and present insights in coordination with management
- Support top management in making faster and better-informed decisions
- Drive high performance through strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Be accountable to commitments and deliver consistent productivity
- Ensure support to accounts on payment collections beyond credit limits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Profile Requirements:
- 12–15 years of techno-commercial experience across Middle East, Asia, and Africa in Air Forces, aviation spares supply chain, tendering, or business development
- Minimum 5 years of team handling experience
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and achieving business growth in a similar role
- Proficiency in market research, business analytics, and reporting tools
- Strong competence in financial analysis, project management, and marketing tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements
