Our service streams thousands of blockbuster Hollywood movies, TV shows, documentaries, kids entertainment, and dedicated Arabic content to subscribers in the region. STARZPLAY also offers live sports such as cricket, football, UFC, rugby, golf, basketball, etc. It is the fastest-growing SVOD service in the region.

The role:

STARZPLAY is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Business Development Department. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Your ability to understand client needs, implement effective sales strategies, and expand our client base will be crucial to our organization's success.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. New Business Development:
    • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Execute strategies to acquire new clients and expand our client base.
    • Administer and oversee telecommunications operators (telcos), retail partners, and e-commerce entities among others.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Understand client needs, objectives, and expectations and advocate for their success within the organization.
    • Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, new services, and industry developments.
  3. Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Work to achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the organization.
    • Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  4. Client Needs Assessment:
    • Conduct client needs assessments and propose solutions that align with their objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor services to client requirements.
  5. Sales Strategies:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve business development objectives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
  6. Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
    • Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts for clients.
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and service agreements to meet client and organization needs.
  7. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze client performance data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account health and identify growth opportunities.
    • Generate regular reports to communicate results and insights to clients and management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve and/or support revenue goals.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strategic thinking and creativity to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and services.
  • Proficiency in Over-The-Top (OTT) services or Telecommunications (Telco) sector.
