Qualifications

  • Ability to read project drawings, specifications, and BOQs for tendering.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, technical proposals, and quotations tailored to client needs.

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Engineer to drive sales client acquisition and revenue growth in the civil piling and ground improvement sector. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities building client relationships preparing proposals and closing deals while supporting the company’s overall business development strategy in the UAE.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in civil construction piling and ground improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants contractors and developers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, technical proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with estimation, project and operations teams to prepare tenders and bids.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: / B.E. in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of business development/sales experience in civil piling or geotechnical sectors.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of civil/piling/ground improvement works.
    • Ability to read project drawings specifications and BOQs for tendering.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word).
Other Requirements
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong client-handling and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Self-driven with ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
