About the Role

The company is seeking a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst with a strong technical background in the payments space to drive analysis, design, and delivery of complex payment and digital asset solutions. You’ll bridge business objectives and technical implementation—translating requirements into clear solution designs that power cross-border payments, crypto settlements, and fiat on/off-ramp flows. This role requires deep familiarity with payment systems, API-based integrations, and end-to-end transaction flows. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, compliant, and aligned with the company’s growth strategy. Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs.
• Analyse, document, and optimise end-to-end payment workflows, including card acquiring, PSP integrations, remittance, and settlement flows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design system architecture and API interfaces supporting both fiat and crypto payment products.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to increase scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Support the development and implementation of new payment features, ensuring functional requirements are aligned with product strategy and regulatory standards.
• Perform detailed data and process analysis to identify issues, gaps, and opportunities across payment systems.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, sequence diagrams, data mapping, and flowcharts to support delivery.
• Work closely with QA teams to define test cases, validate solutions, and ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
• Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure payment solutions meet global regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor product performance and propose enhancements based on analytics and customer feedback.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within payments, fintech, or banking.
• Proven experience in solution design and strong understanding of system integration and application architecture.
• Deep knowledge of payment systems, remittance networks, acquirers, gateways, settlement processes, and reconciliation flows.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML schemas, and working knowledge of how technical systems interact across platforms.
• Familiarity with SWIFT, SEPA, card schemes, or real-time payments; exposure to crypto payment or blockchain settlement systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with ability to translate complex concepts into structured deliverables.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies, business analysis tools, and collaboration platforms (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to technical detail.
