Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boatswain to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Boatswain, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the ship, ensuring the safety of all crew members and passengers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all deck crew activities, including loading and unloading cargo, handling lines, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and repair ship equipment, including ropes, winches, and lifeboats.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other crew members to ensure smooth operation of the ship.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any issues to the Captain.
• Train new crew members in proper safety procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Boatswain on a commercial vessel.
