Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Lead - Infrastructure to join our innovative team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organisation you will be responsible for leading and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for large-scale infrastructure projects


• Lead and mentor a team of BIM professionals ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate BIM processes across all project phases


• Establish and maintain BIM standards protocols and best practices


• Oversee the creation and management of 3D models ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements


• Conduct clash detection analyses and coordinate resolution of issues with relevant stakeholders


• Liaise with clients contractors and other project stakeholders to ensure effective BIM implementation


• Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies and industry trends recommending improvements to current processes


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues


• Prepare and deliver BIM training programmes for team members and project partners

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM for infrastructure projects


• Advanced proficiency in BIM software particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks


• Proven track record of leading BIM teams on large-scale infrastructure projects


• Strong understanding of infrastructure design and construction processes


• Excellent knowledge of BIM standards protocols and best practices


• Proficient in 3D modelling coordination and clash detection


• Familiarity with GIS systems and their integration with BIM


• Outstanding project management and organisational skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment


• BIM certification (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional) is highly desirable


• Demonstrated experience in BIM implementation and management for infrastructure projects


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines


• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry developments
