About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The role involves providing high-quality technical expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) supporting model and document management and ensuring BIM compliance across a wide range of infrastructure and building projects. Working collaboratively across entities within the SJ Group including RBG and SMEC the BIM Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting project delivery and maintaining BIM excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply and enhance internal and client BIM standards and platforms.
  • Provide guidance and training on BIM processes and tools.
  • Develop and manage 3D 4D and 5D models.
  • Lead model coordination clash detection and reviews using Revit Navisworks Civil 3D etc.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project and client expectations.
  • Set up BIM systems for new projects and lead implementation.
  • Conduct model audits and reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Mentor junior staff and support knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Contribute to project planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Architecture or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in BIM roles.
  • Proven experience in coordinating BIM for infrastructure or building projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk tools (Revit Navisworks AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM documentation (TIDP MIDP BEP).
  • Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
