A leading hospitality provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver excellent customer service and prepare a variety of beverages. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced beach club and possess strong communication and customer service skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you'll engage with customers and showcase your cocktail-making abilities.
Qualification: The bartender should have excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to customers. Responsibilities include greeting customers, learning about their preferences, answering questions, recommending menu items, preparing and serving beverages. The bartender will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. A neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality are essential.
Experience: At least a high school diploma, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar position at a high-volume, fast-paced beach club. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, a positive and high energy level, highly cooperative team spirit, and the ability to work under high stress in a fast-paced environment.
Description: Welcoming customers, listening to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders. Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Delivering excellent customer service at all times. Maintaining thorough knowledge of all menu items for suggestive selling. Ensuring beverages are presented appealingly, handling off-menu items like classic cocktails, and expanding personal knowledge. Ensuring all beverages and foods are presented to generate eye appeal. Ordering, receiving, stocking supplies, and maintaining product displays. Following standards for merchandising, stock rotation, and sanitation. Handling all equipment properly and keeping it clean. Addressing guest problems and complaints. Attending departmental briefings and contributing to team communication. Performing other duties as assigned. Monitoring bar cleanliness and ensuring all materials and areas are tidy.
