Turkish Kunafeh Chef Assistant
Responsibilities
- Preparing components as well as managing cooking and other kitchen devices.
- Creating breads, baked products, and confections, by following a set recipe. (Specifically Kunafeh).
- Developing new dishes for seasonal food selections. (Kunafeh with various flavours).
- Embellishing pastries and desserts to guarantee stunning and attractive presentation.
- Monitoring the supply of baking ingredients.
- Getting new supplies, ingredients, and devices for the bread section, when needed, and within budget.
- Ensuring their section of the kitchen complies with safety and health and wellness laws.
- Monitoring and educating team member, when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Post-secondary training at a cooking institution.
- Certification in cookeries, pastry-making, cooking, or appropriate area.
- 2 or more years' experience working within the food market as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or pertinent duty.
- Working knowledge of cooking methods and the pastry-making process.
- Imaginative capability with artistic ability in making Kunafeh.
- Eager interest to information.
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene concepts, food prep work, and nutrition.
- Flexible functioning hours, including weekend breaks and evenings, when essential.
- Efficient in working in a hectic, production setting.
