The ideal candidate will have a B2 Engineer certification and five years of certifying experience in a Part-145 AMO. Qualifications

As an Avionics Engineer at Jet Aviation, you will be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation procedures and aviation regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain records of completed maintenance and repair work
  • Represent Jet Aviation internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network
  • Ensure maintenance on aircraft systems complies with company policies and procedures
  • Certify work and release aircraft systems in accordance with relevant License Categories
Qualifications and Experience
  • B2 Engineer certification
  • B1 qualification (preferred)
  • B1+B2 EASA / GCAA or ICAO NAA equivalent AMEL
  • Five or more B1/B2 Gulfstream Type Ratings
  • FAA A&P certificate (preferred)
  • Experience with PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft (preferred)
  • Minimum five years certifying experience in a Part-145 AMO
  • Battery shop approvals (preferred)
  • Ability to inspect and sign off aircraft and tasks independently

Additional relevant A/C Type ratings based on business needs

Good knowledge of ERP systems

Experience working in aircraft maintenance facilities performing system maintenance and modifications

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience with General Aviation Installation and Design

Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft systems maintenance

People management skills in an operational environment

Experience in customer-focused environments with multiple priorities and deadlines

Basic computer literacy in ERP systems
