This role is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to patients and their family members according to current best‑evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with Dubai Health Authority and the organization’s policies, procedures, guidelines and standards. Their activities and clinical interventions are supervised by a Registered Nurse, according to the clinical competencies approved for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, skin checks, and fall risk, ensuring accurate documentation of health data.
  • Support nursing care plans by assisting in the implementation of interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within approved clinical competencies.
  • Promote patient‑centered care by considering cultural and socioeconomic factors, enhancing the overall patient and family experience.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by maintaining a healthy environment, adhering to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and best practices.
  • Manage resources responsibly through safe use of clinical equipment, monitoring medical supplies, and performing routine safety checks.
  • Facilitate communication and continuity of care by documenting accurately, escalating concerns appropriately, and supporting patient and family education from admission to discharge.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction by addressing concerns, providing feedback to nursing management, and ensuring a smooth patient journey across services.
Qualifications
  • Diploma of Nursing with course duration of minimum 18 months
  • Minimum 1 year of experience post qualification
  • Holder of Dubai Health Authority Medical License as Assistant Nurse
  • Have Basic Life Support (BLS)
