An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Sales to join Jumeirah Living Marina Gate.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for meeting revenue targets across designated global accounts, market segments specifically in corporate and long stay executing tailored sales strategies and action plans.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive brand alignment and market presence.
- Create and implement account development plans to maximize short- and long-term revenue, while providing insights and recommendations for sales strategy improvements.
- Actively prospect new opportunities, maintain a high-profile network, and represent the brand at key trade shows, client events, and sales trips.
- Stay updated on individual, segment, and hotel performance targets; adhere to company policies, brand standards, and hygiene and safety regulations.
- Act as a Jumeirah ambassador, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining professional appearance, and supporting internal collaboration and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Problem solving
- Leadership and team management skills
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with hotel management software, such as Opera cloud, is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- High level of professionalism and grooming.
- Fluency in any of the languages - Arabic, English, Russian, and German is desired.
