A leading HR consulting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – HR on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will drive key HR processes including talent acquisition, employee relations, and data management, bringing at least 6 years of HR experience in a mid-to-large organization. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HRMS systems is essential. Immediate availability preferred.

Job description

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – HR who will be responsible for driving key people processes including HR grievances, talent acquisition, employee support, employee relations, disciplinary handling, and HR data management for our client based in Dubai – one of the largest semi-government companies in the region.

This is a 6-month contract.

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Manager – HR who has experience in HR operations, labor law compliance, and possess knowledge of HRMS systems, reporting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor structured goal-setting frameworks across departments.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for critical and business-priority roles.
  • Handle employee relations cases and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage disciplinary processes in line with company policy and local labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, workforce data, and prepare HR reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate HR initiatives, engagement programs, and employee life-cycle activities including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and offboarding.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Min of 6 years of progressive HR experience in a mid-to-large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and local labor laws.
  • Experience with HRMS platforms and HR analytics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Availability:
  • Preference will be given to candidates available immediately.
