Premier Insurance Brokers is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Property & Energy to join our Risk Assessment Department. This role plays a key part in underwriting, portfolio management, and client relationship development within the property and energy insurance segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and underwrite property and energy insurance risks in line with underwriting authority and company guidelines
  • Conduct detailed risk analysis to support accurate pricing and portfolio performance
  • Manage, develop, and grow the property and energy insurance portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and reinsurance partners
  • Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities through regular portfolio reviews
  • Negotiate policy terms and conditions with insurers and clients
  • Oversee claims servicing and ensure excellence in claims handling and client service
  • Prepare slips, quotations, renewal reports, and management presentations
  • Provide monthly internal and external reporting as required
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, and relevant industry events
  • Support management with insurance renewal presentations and strategic initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (desirable)
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in insurance brokerage or a related insurance role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lines, preferably Property, Energy, Liability, Financial Lines, and Marine
  • Solid understanding of insurance regulations, market dynamics, and emerging risks
  • Experience working with account management systems and insurance documentation processes
  • Proven ability to retain and grow client relationships
