Assistant Manager Credit

Purpose

Support the Head of Credit & Risk in assessing, underwriting, and approving credit applications within company policy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective risk management in line with board-approved risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining credit and risk management policies.
  • Analyse financial statements, business models, and market trends to identify and mitigate credit risks.
  • Conduct detailed credit checks, review securities, and prepare comprehensive credit proposals.
  • Collaborate with business teams to safeguard portfolio quality while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and monitor portfolio MIS, quarterly risk reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support portfolio monitoring and annual reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce/Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Credit & Risk within a bank or finance company.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills.
