Job summary

A global hotel leader in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking a Hotel Animator to create engaging recreational and entertainment activities for guests of all ages. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing daily programs, interacting with guests, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. We're looking for someone with a high school diploma and proven experience in entertainment or guest relations, possessing excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or certification in hospitality, tourism, performing arts, or recreation is a plus.
  • Proven experience in entertainment, recreation, guest relations, or a similar role, preferably in a hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be friendly, outgoing, and confident engaging with guests of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute daily entertainment programs and activities.
  • Interact actively with guests, encouraging participation and ensuring everyone feels welcome.
  • Host or support evening entertainment such as quizzes, karaoke, and live shows.
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of guests during all activities.
  • Work closely with other departments to coordinate events.
  • Maintain activity equipment and areas in a clean and working condition.
  • Adapt activities to suit guest demographics and seasonal demand.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues during activities.
  • Represent the hotel’s values with a friendly attitude.

The Hotel Animator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and delivering engaging recreational and entertainment activities for hotel guests of all ages. This role is essential in creating a vibrant, enjoyable atmosphere that enhances the guest experience and encourages guest participation and satisfaction.

  • Plan, organize, and execute daily entertainment programs and activities (e.g., games, sports, arts & crafts, themed evenings, kids’ activities).
  • Interact actively with guests, encouraging participation and ensuring everyone feels welcome and included.
  • Host or support evening entertainment such as quizzes, karaoke, live shows, or themed parties.
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of guests during all activities.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., F&B, Front Office) to coordinate events and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain activity equipment and areas in clean and working condition.
  • Adapt activities to suit guest demographics and seasonal demand.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues during activities.
