AMI INSTALLATION AND OPERATION SUPERVISOR

REPORTING TO: INSTALLATION OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER.
FUNCTIONAL CO-ORDINATION: INSTALLATION OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE ENGINEER.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on‑site installation, commissioning and maintenance of AMI smart commercial gasmeters, EVCs and PRMS systems ensuring adherence to project plans, drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate, assign and monitor work of technicians, contractors and subcontractors ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE policies, Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and safe work practices during all site activities.
- Conduct daily inspections and progress checks to verify work quality, safety compliance and technical correctness of installations and maintenance activities.
- Identify and report site issues, risks and deviations recommending corrective actions or preventive measures to Installation Operation & Maintenance Engineer/Installation Operation & Manager.
- Maintain accurate site records including work logs, inspection reports, equipment checks and material usage ensuring documentation is audit ready.
- Assist in preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments and site procedures for installation, maintenance and emergency operations.
- Coordinate with QC officers and HSE officers to ensure quality standards and safety requirements are consistently applied.
- Supervise emergency response activities, including gas leaks, fire hazards and pressure incidents, ensuring proper execution of safety protocols.
- Monitor equipment, tools and materials on site, ensuring proper storage, handling, calibration and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance, training and support to field teams to enhance productivity, quality, and compliance.
- Support audits, client inspections and regulatory visits ensuring the site is compliant with ADNOC standards and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in Oil and Gas Installation, O&M, or utility projects preferred.
- Basic knowledge of AMI smart meters, EVCs, PRMS and field instrumentation advantageous.
Experience
- 3–6 years of site supervision experience in oil & gas, utilities or gas projects.
- Hands‑on experience supervising meter installations, PRMS systems and field maintenance teams.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, HSE procedures, PTW systems and quality control processes.
