- Timely execution of assigned assembly, maintenance and repair tasks while assuring work is performed strictly according to work instructions and company quality processes.
- Documented and traceable sub- assembly, final-assembly and repair & maintenance tasks performed on aircraft, payloads and other products.
- Root cause and corrective action ideas on products and (sub)systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks such as incoming goods inspection and testing, sub-assembly, final assembly of aircraft, accessories and payloads.
- Scheduled and non-scheduled aircraft maintenance work at Swiss headquarters as well as globally.
- Non-scheduled aircraft repair work such as sub-systems removal, installation, replacements and subsequent testing at Swiss headquarters as well as globally.
- Ensure all pre and post flight maintenance is accomplished, recorded, and signed.
- Ensure all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) is serviceable and maintained in good order to support daily flight operations.
- Prepare transportation of aircraft, payloads and other equipment, especially related to comply with Dangerous Goods requirements.
Other Tasks
- Preparation of aircraft, GCS and data transmission systems, aircraft maintenance, flight preparation, assistance to external pilot (as required) and ground movements for flight missions.
- Act as Technician instructor for internal and/or external training.
- Support to perform root cause analysis, fault diagnosis using test equipment and implement approved corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Reporting task on task executed as needed by HR, Finance or Quality.
- Working independently and responsibly. Perform task tasks as described above. Proactive communication when issues arise, or help is needed.
- Compliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions.
- International travel required of up to 50% of employee’ working hours.
- Assure 5s behaviour to drive clean, safe and efficient work processes.
Qualifications
- Completed technical education.
- At a minimum 3 years’ experience as technician for manned and/or unmanned aircrafts Thorough knowledge of aircraft assembly and maintenance work requirements.
- Sound technical and practical understanding of complex mechanical, mechatronic and electrical systems.
- Process-oriented and structured work methods.
- Responsible. Good technical understanding. Good communication skills.
- Good language skills in English (oral and written)
