Job summary

A leading provider of industrial automation solutions is seeking a senior engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage engineering activities for the Operator Training System (OTS). The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in Simulation & Digitalization and a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Responsibilities include ensuring design quality, managing project timelines, and providing engineering solutions. A Master’s degree is preferable, with a strong emphasis on leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years work experience in the field of Simulation & Digitalization.
• Hands-on experience commissioning OTS in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
• OTS implementation experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS).
• Ensure successful completion of design to meet all review and audit requirements.
• Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines.

Skills

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Good leadership skills

Knowledge of working on DCS platforms

Education

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) to provide value‑added engineering solutions
• Ensure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirements
• Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines; delivery of model sections for integration
• Work to specification for model areas
• Participate in OTS project validation and witness testing

Job Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years work experience in the field of Simulation & Digitalization
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering; Master’s degree is preferable
• Hands‑on experience commissioning OTS in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units
• OTS implementation experience in OMEGALAND software would be an added advantage
